I initially thought we'd meet at the buffet restaurant near our house, but this time, he gave us a different address. An address not in Frederick, but at the next town, Myersville. Last Sunday, when we arrived a little past four o'clock, we had the feeling that he moved to this new address.
...and all of us were right. It was a beautiful home with lots of big windows in a very wonderful location. The house sits on a hill and the big backyard is on a slope and going down; there's a little clearing that you can build a tent and camp for the night. The property is huge, and I mean HUGE with gardens of flowers, herbs and fruit bearing trees of pears, pecans and apples, and a wild flower meadow.

The house has so much natural light coming in from all the big windows. Jealous! I am also envious of the kitchen which has a lot of counter space, and storage. *sigh.

The place is spacious and there's no backyard neighbor. ...and the house? It felt like you need a map to find a restroom. Hehehe. Just kidding. In all the windows facing the backyard, you can see the mountain which, I think, is part of Gambril State Park. Definitely, we will invite ourselves here in the coming fall season. Hehehehe. This part of the house will definitely have the wonderful golden hues of autumn.

From the entrance, going to the hallway then to the kitchen, there's a room for his two dogs, which has an electric fan for the hot summer, before going to the other room where there's a huge flat screen TV exclusively for his mother's The Filipino Channel. Also, in the next room, it has a pingpong table which the boy absolutely loved.

While exploring, I saw this plant that looked like bitter melon or a caterpillar. I wonder if this is edible. (Update: I have learned from my friend, Nancy that the bitter melon looking plant is a milkweed. It's not a fruit but a bud. This plant is poisonous to humans but great for butterflies, bugs and beetles.)

Oh, by the way, this was the first time I saw a pecan, not in a pack at the grocery store, but on a tree. A live one. Complete amazement!

While exploring the estate, I willingly picked flowers and put them on an empty bottle of Yuengling beer. There is an endless supply of cut flowers in this home, for sure.

Meet Aang and Appa. Aang kept kissing aka licking me from my elbow and then down to my legs. Hehehe. She

What can I say? I am so happy for my friends, and for our get togethers. We don't do it often, but we always look forward to our gatherings. ...and I'm still envious of this home, but the mister is not of the yard work. Hehehe.
Until here. I heart you for reading this post.

I love the place. I want to steal the house, and the dogs too. Hahahaha!
Btw, you have seen Mama's pecan tree?
Mama said when we were there that they had it cut.
Supernice and homey! I wish to have a house like that too!

Gusto ko rin ng malaking kitchen. Naiinggit din ako. Haha.
lovely house. oh the life of living in the burbs....SPACE!!!
Murag naa ra sa probinsya ba kanindot
In my case, I prefer a big garden than a big house. If mister doesn't like yard work, I don't like house work, he,he,he. Beautiful house!
I live in a big town with a small town feel. :)
Ok lang ako sa big garden but OMG ang laki talaga ng property at maraming kahoy. Sakit sa katawan during autumn. Ang daming i-rake na leaves.
Wag ka mag alalala Ms. Lili, kahit ako nainngit. Awwww.. The backyard though, i like it so much. Ganto gusto ko bahay., wood yet modrnized.
