Yo!

I'm writing this while having my late lunch. I'm having a warm bowl of black and brown rice, and oatmeal combo champorado, with a little creamer and freshly sliced strawberries, topped with some left over fried pork from last night.

I wanted to blog about the penny farthing event last Saturday, but I just couldn't find the time to upload and choose photos for the post. I have so many things to do--at home and for the shop. This is the last week of summer vacation for the boy. Today is their school's back to school night, which reminds me to start dinner earlier than usual. We're done with school supply shopping though. Thank God.

Got to go!

What's For Lunch?

Untitled

Hello from my kitchen! Here's something warm and healthy, but not really! Oatmeal, milk, a little honey, chia seeds, mangoes, and chicharon! Ha!

Third Time's The Charm

It does not apply to my kind of third time. On Monday, what else was new.

Yup! It got stolen again minus the steamed rice. Six juicy hamonado longganisa disappeared! What is funny is I packed the boy a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on Thursday last week with a banana and a bottle of cold water, and the thief didn't even touched it. Therefore, he didn't like the Filipino sausages

That's because he loved them.

Anyway. I called the school on Monday afternoon. I was extremely frustrated already. What was odd was the lady from the front office who answered my call was surprised about my son's stolen lunches and even more surprised that there were more thefts aside from what I told her. I really thought there were many parents who called the school to report the past week's many incidents. I know my friend, Nancy did!

On Tuesday, the boy and his friends hid his lunch somewhere new and unknown outside their group. So far, their plan has been successful.

My boy has been eating his packed lunched since.

Yay!
