This song was for their French class. The tune of the song was from Malaysian singer-songwriter Zee Avi's song titled Kantoi from her 2009 album, Bitter Heart.

Il était une fois
dans un pays lointain
Il y avait une princesse
Elle jouait du violon
Elle était suele tout le temps
Si elle jouait et jouait
à l’extérier du palais dans le jardin

Un jour, un beau prince flậnait
près du jardin
Il écoutait de la musique de son violon
Le temps a passé et
il écoutait toute la journée
mais le lendemain, elle était absente!

Sa marậtre l’a fait prisonnière de la princesse
parce qu’elle ne rangeait pas sa chambre.
Quand le prince entendait qu’elle était en danger,
il l’a sauvée et tue sa marậtre.

Il a dit «Je t’aime! Ta musique est belle!»
Elle a dit «Je suis très heureuese maintenant!»
Ils vécurent heureux et eurent beaucoup d’enfants.
Tout est bien qui finit bien.

Translation:
Once upon a time,
a long time ago,
there was a princess.
She played the violin.
She was lonely all the time,
so she played and played
outside the palace in the garden.

One day, a handsome prince was strolling
by the garden.
He heard the music from her violin.
Time passed and,
he listened all day.
But the next day she was not there.

Her evil stepmother imprisoned the princess
because she did not clean her room.
When the prince found out she was in danger,
he saved her and killed her stepmother.

He said, "I love you! Your music is beautiful!"
She said, "I am so happy now!"
They lived happily ever after and had many children.
All is well that ends well.
