Sabado

I worked most of yesterday, did a little drinking, and took a quick trip to the thrift store.

For our drinks, we had a cafe latte prepared by the mister in the morning. In the background is my homemade Showroom Pandesal (a savory pandesal).

After lunch, we went to the beer house, Attaboy, downtown. Jay had a glass of beer, and I had a hard seltzer.

An hour after dinner, I warmed on the stove apple cider made locally by McCutcheon's, added cinnamon sticks, slices of oranges and ginger, a pinch of nutmeg, and a little scoop of honey. Jay spiked it with rye whiskey.

 Oh la la!

Hi. It's Saturday, and this is why we have café latte. It's only Jay that knows how to make it, and he doesn't work on weekends.

We're heading out of town later today to pick up an item in Rockville that Jay and Jason bought yesterday.

We'll pick up my little sister too since we're heading that way to the town she's residing in, and hang out with her.

Good morning.

Instead of drinking coffee, I considered boiling the peach basil tea I brewed the day before.

The mister is preparing for a colonoscopy and will be remaining at home, therefore I don't want him to smell the aroma of hot coffee. Plus, I'm enjoying donuts with my morning coffee.

He can only have liquids today: water, soup, or ginger ale.

I understand the preparation because I went through it last month. It's nothing major; simply a standard check-up for our age.

You know, I was simply being considerate.

While grabbing a cup, he mentioned that he was making me a cafe latte.

Awww!

I was moved, and I said yes in a heartbeat!

I had a sip already.
