I had an early dental appointment. I had it scheduled early in the day so I can get it over with.The moment I woke up, it looked like it's winter. It was so dark outside at 6:30 am----cloudy and raining.
By 8:15 am, I was out the door for my 8:30 am appointment. Gladly, it stopped raining and I was able to use the JCrew loafers I planned to wear. My waterproof floral boots wouldn't match today's ensemble.
I do not like going to any kind of doctor. But you know, I have to.
The dental assistant was so nice and warm. She played retro music for me while I was prepped on the chair.
I listened to very familiar music during the half hour procedure. It made me want to sing along but all I can do was sing in my mind. Hehehe.
I also listened to their (the endodontist and the assistant) stories. They talked about the weather and the traffic; their dogs; the doctor's neck pain; the flooding in his basement; new appliances versus the old ones; and about memories from their childhood. The doctor also said that he thinks that he has really good memory.
And then...
Assistant: What is that drink again that you said can help with memory?
Doctor: Oh you mean, VODKA?!
Hahahaha.
He's funny, and he's Russian.
He added, "Vodka helps create happy memories!"

Hahaha! i like that one. Vodka is cheaper than water in Russia. That's what my former Russian roommate said.
hahahahaha your dentist is funny Miss Lili! and hey, I love your loafers so much! not a fan of loafers because I love something that can give me "Extra" height hahaha but they are so good and comfortable!

What a funny and happy day by just visiting a dentist! Th Europeans always argued that Vodka came from Poland. Never mind that, I always enjoyed Vodka with lime.
I had terrible phobia all my life to visit dentists until my wife became a qualified hypnotherapist. She managed to discard the fear from my head and I went to fix all my rotten teeth that took 1.5 years to finish! LOLOL
