It was a Yummy week...

Landang and Danggit

My mom's first cousin, Jojie sent me something from the Philippines the other week.
She sent me Landang (looks like a brown pellets on the above photo) and Danggit (the salted dried fish). Landang is some kind of a Tapioca Pearl but this is so much better.
So much yummier.
I'll post more about Danggit in my future entries.
Landang in my Binignit

It's been more than ten years since I tasted Landang in my Binignit.
So, I tried cooking Binignit last Wednesday.
I guess it tasted just like when we were in the Philipines because Jay (my husband) loved it.
Although I lacked Taro root and Jackfruit in my ingredients but it was gone in 60 seconds.
:D
By the way, I asked my older sister in Anaheim, California for the recipe.
Turon

I had extra plantain from the Binignit so I made Turon (Sweet Fried Banana Spring Rolls)yesterday.
I still have some in my fridge.
I'll definitely fry more for this weekend.
Have a yummy weekend everyone.

Love.Love.Love.Love.Love makes the world go round.
