Today is a lazy day for me. Not completely though---I still need to take photos of newly sourced and freshly cleaned vintage items for my e-stores. I also need to do a little gardening sometime today. I sure hope the mosquitoes will not fancy me as much today than the previous days. Ugh! I loathe them.
Oh! By the way, I didn't know that the new variety of tomato I was growing this year was somewhat of a climbing kind. I am talking about my spoon tomatoes.
I just found out that they have tendrils---you know that green skinny curly appendage that holds on to a support or to a neighboring plant for the plant to climb on.
No wonder it climbed over the arch trellis that Jay DIY'ed last year. I just thought that my tomatoes were overachievers this year, and grew so tall compared to the previous years. I wasn't informed that this variety is a climber.
Anyway, blunch (breakfast closer to lunch) was served in the garden. It was 'lami' (delicious)---fresh tomatoes, over easy eggs, and burrata on toast, paired with Jay's café latte and macchiato.
