Excuse me, Sir!

Today. I was done grocery shopping, and just as I was about to wheel in the shopping cart to the shopping cart bay near where I parked our car...

"Excuse me, Sir!"

I saw a grandpa getting out of his silver gray van wearing a tropical floral print terra cotta cotton Hawaiian shirt over a white cotton undershirt, and light khaki shorts bottom.

"Yes?" Then he turned towards me. He smiled.

"Is that a vintage 70s Reyn Spooner shirt you're wearing?"

He looked so surprise, and then he smiled again. Wider this time.

"Well, YES!"

"I just had to ask. It's beautiful, and it looks great on you!"

"You have great taste, young lady!"

"I know!" Then I laughed!

Hihihi! Young lady and great taste. Oh yeah!

I have sold a few vintage pieces of Reyn Spooner before, but never really met one who wears one. I only see it on TV, like Chi McBride on Hawaii Five-O. I am not sure if Tom Selleck wore the brand on Magnum P.I. in the 80s.

This is indeed interesting and you are certainly very observant.

I had no idea that people still wore clothes from the 70s!

I only collect antiques over 100-200 years ago. LOL

That's what my children say about me all of the time. I am very observant.

There's still a lot like me who proudly wears vintage clothing. :D
