Dear Miss Bohol 2015 Beauty Pageant Organizers

There are so many kinds of shoes with heels. There are beautiful strappy heels, heeled pumps, and peep toes. There are also dress shoes for pageants also known as pageant heels. There are also stripper heels, also known as the exotic dancer shoes.

Unfortunately, a lot almost all of your contestants are wearing the latter. The exotic dancer shoes!

I understand that some of these contestants want to look taller in those shoes, but there are also an abundance of non-stripper heeled shoes in the market. These are young beautiful and intelligent ladies proudly representing every town in the province, so let them portray confidence and pride sans the stripper heels. I guess some of these ladies are still minors---but are wearing exotic dancer shoes. That just sounds so wrong.

Other beauty contestants in many parts of the world may wear these kinds of shoes, but do we really have to allow and follow them just because a few are wearing it?

Because the stripper heels have crossed over to the-kinda-fashionable-already-shoes, God forbid that some of them will also be wearing the trendy red carpet almost naked gowns.

POR FAVOR, NOOOOO!

Please pageant organizers, guide these ladies to represent not just their towns, but the beautiful island of Bohol with class and modesty.

Dear Contestants,
Beautiful young ladies, stay classy, and NOT TRASHY! Choose style over fashion. Choose decency over what's uso (trendy) and fashionable to some people. You don't need to wear those shoes to look taller. You also don't need to show too much skin to show that you're beautiful.

Sincerely from a proud Boholana,
Lili

P.S. In my opinion, Gloria Diaz wasn't the tallest among all the contestants in the 1969 Miss Universe pageant, but why did she win?  I didn't think because she was or looked tall, and showed too much skin. It was because of her beauty, personality, intellect and wit! I am just thinking out loud. If you don't know what stripper heels look like, please go look it up. But please, don't insist that these kinds of shoes is the uso (trend), and this is why it's okay for these girls to wear them.

WE should always teach youngsters about the decency and class. :)

Baka naman ginamit nila without knowing what it's called.

I must admit that Bohol is really nice, except this hooker looking young girls! What happened Bohol? Did your self respect and dignity got destroyed with the wrath of mother earth in 2013? What ever happened to your decency?

MISS BOHOL PAGEANT ORGANIZERS, GISING!

Anonymous said...

I understand your point, Miss Lili. But do these organizers watch movies and documentaries? Wala silang alam?

Dyza Saco said...

First off. You can clearly see that these shoes are not at all the same in terms of design and type.
Second: You can see that these are not the official shoes for Ms. Bohol.

Okay. Chill out for a bit there. Seriously bashing on the organizers? real mature. these shoes are owned by the contestants.
They were not bought by the organizers. And wow so much for criticizing these organizers and contestants calling them hookers and such. You arent really helping in any way. You are calling these young girls as "strippers", "hookers" and Sex Tourism??? Do you want Child Pornography to happen cause thats how it happens. You are calling these girls offending names just because for shoes? just because these shoes are for hookers? Was there a rule stating that we cant wear any of these shoes? then why are they sold to the public? why are they not confined in a sex store if its sole purpose is to provide 'pleasure to the eyes of men'.

Then here comes the bashing towards the organizers. ??? I dont get it. is it because they allowed these girls to wear shoes that they are comfortable in? Is it because they couldnt provide the shoes earlier due to the fact they still need to get the contestants shoe sizes and have to order and it and it couldnt come quicker? Seriously. I dont get why youre blaming the organizers when you can clearly see that these shoes are of different types and clearly OWNED by the contestants.

Guess you watch to much porn and go to too many strip clubs in order to "officiallly" labels these shoes.

byt the way do you have some type of feet fetish to focus solely on the feet oh the contestants? then if so. That sure do explains alot.

Plus: "Anonymous" well not tough enough to show who you are? I mean Im 17 and still a minor yet I can freely express myself. plus its so obvious that its just the same person typing nonsense over and over again. And pleaseee look at the time difference as to the time posted. You know sometimes people who talk to themselves and acts as another person is a symptom of a certain mental disorders. You should get yourself checked out. You aint fooling anybody ;)

thats how ridiculous you sound. seriously

Anonymous said...

This is your opinion, and that's it! Pansit!

Anonymous said...

Plus. its the 21st century. Women and men are entitled to wear what they like. Dont demoralize them just because you lived in a much more traditional generation.

Senyor Iskwater said...

Demoralize??? Big word. What's demoralizing about the post? The organizers allowed them to look like hookers in the first place. There must be something wrong with you people. Stressing out a point is not bashing. Just take note of it and move on. Try ownership! Affected much kasi kayo! Makapunta nga jan nang makonyatan ko kayo! Joke!

Senyor Iskwater said...

Makabugaw naman! Foul yan. Wala kang bayag!

Senyor Iskwater said...

Oh my. You better check your twisted logic!

Anonymous said...

Maybe 17 year olds shouldn't be allowed to organize these events. They don't know any better on how to present boholanas to the world. Department of Bohol Tourism need to take control of this. It's demoralizing and degrading to dress up our young ladies like that.

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

If that's okay in Bohol. It's fine. Only in Bohol. But you can not control the opinion of people.

Anonymous said...

Whats demoralizing about these post? have you seen the anonymous comments? calling these young beautiful girls as hookers? strippers? Sex objects? Omg I have never met someone who has that low mental capability to think.

Big word? want me to define it for you? cause it really isnt that hard to understand. well since you dont seem to understand what "demoralize" means probably due to your short mental capacity well it means ' cause someone to lose confidence or hope'. Now you see calling these girls DEGRADING terms does that. it demoralizes them. For what? these article of "PROVOCATIVE" clothing that people buy in any general public clothing store. If its provocative then mind your own fucking business. They are not wearing these article of clothing to get your approval. They wear these clothing because they are confident in it. it makes them feel themselves.

Ohh not bashing? stressing out a point? Oh dear turns out Bashing is also a big word for you. Bashing means severe criticism which can be clearly seen in the comments.
You take note of it. There must be something wrong with you. What ownership? what do they or we own? and you arent affected? Sureee. Youre the one who wants to give me physical harm here :P So whose really affected here? :P

BIG WORD DICTIONARY

DEGRADING- means causing a loss of respect of humiliating .
PROVOCATIVE-arousing sexual desire or interest, causing annoyance or another strong reaction.

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

My dear, you are still a child. There is so much of the world that you don't know, such as the stripper shoes. Knowing what they are doesn't mean I go to strip clubs or I own one. Is your mother okay with your stripper shoes?

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

I heard it's uso in other provinces too.

Bryan Urna said...

news flash. they are part of it. are you sure? youre the one demoralizing them and degrading them :P Well they should take it as compliment cause they look like 17 years old. very young and very beautiful.and very wise. Plus the aforementioned 17 years old girl didn't say she was part of the organizing team. She just expressed what she believed, hahahah fuck ups

Anonymous said...

My dear, you are still a traditional woman. There is so much of the world that you dont know, such as the 21st century.Knowing that respecting people of their own choices and not bashing them doesnt mean I dont have knowledge and just because I dont agree with your opinions with the stripper shoes doesnt mean I have one. Is your kids okay with you calling kids and teens that theyre opinion doesnt matter?

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

Where is the bashing part? Did I call the organizers bugaw? Did I call those girls strippers? I have a very opinionated child, but she is not stubborn. She knows what's appropriate and what's not. Because it's the 21st century, does not mean it's okay to dress up inappropriately.

Senyor Iskwater said...

Estupida! Do not lecture me. Mas kailangan mo yan. Tonta ka! I was focus on the post not on the comments. Y bother with anonymous comments? Ayos ah. Monitoring ka rin ng comments noh? Patola ka!

Anonymous said...

The shoes, id have to agree, are not appropriate for beauty pageants. The organizers should at least come up with image enhancement lessons for their contestants. After all, image is everything. If looking taller is the main concern for wearing these stripper shoes, i dont suppose the organizers should set height requirements too?

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

Anonymous, that's just mean.

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

Did she wear it in a pageant? Is she 17?

Anonymous said...

This Dyza Saco needs a lot of growing up. Let's understand her. Most 17 yr olds go through such phase. Ive been there too haha.

Anonymous said...

Dyza Cabagnot Saco, really? You are 17? Does your mother know you have a filthy mouth?

Anonymous said...

Okay man jud kaayo nimo, Dyza ning stripper heels?

Learn to accept you were ignorant.

Anonymous said...

Asa may demoralizing ana?

Pakauwaw man sad ning ubang taga Bohol mo react oy.

Anonymous said...

I have to agree with Lili. The shoes is not appropriate for beauty pageants. I have also read that one of the organizers said that the contestants were instructed for a SMART/EXECUTIVE look. Many of the girls wore short skirts, and plus with the stripper heels. That is not smart or executive at all.

Anonymous said...

SUCH A FILTHY MOUTH FOR A 17ner!

Anonymous said...

Referring to this blog post, according to one of the organizers,Darlene. She said, "Im very sorry i cant relate because i have never seen a "hooker" before. Maybe the writer of this blog is very accomodating to hookers or I dunno how they are familiar with what hooker heels look like. Lets try giving these comments to the shoemaking industry, shall we? So that they can put a HALT in the manufacturing of the so called *hooker shoes*"

Lili did not invent the term "hooker heels", "stripper heels", or "exotic dancer heels". Don't get mad at Lili just because it so happen that the MISS BOHOL 2015 organizers are IGNORANT!

SMH! You could've handled the situation intelligently. Such a shame!

Hi! I am LiLi! said...

Thank you, but just let it go. Let's move on. :)

Anonymous said...

One of the organizers said "this blog post is not helping".

Are they sure? The stripper heels still is okay even if they knew what it is called now? Not helping?

Why are they so affected based in their comments on Facebook?

Anonymous said...

Why so much reaction when they knew about this blog post?

Affected much!

Anonymous said...

She can't define those words in her own words. She just copied them. hehehehe.

Anonymous said...

Sadly, it is uso. You know those "hookers" in foreign films are wearing those shoes. Ayayay!

Anonymous said...

Miss Lili is right. Dyza ,you're stubborn. Didn't you read what Miss Lili wrote?

"Other beauty contestants in many parts of the world may wear these kinds of shoes, but do we really have to allow and follow them just because a few are wearing it?"

You didn't read that part?

Read any article properly, and then you comment or else you'd sound SO STUPID like you are now!

Anonymous said...

A comment on Judy's wall I read "But what i didn't appreciate about the blog is that it's too focused on the word "hooker" when she could have just used "inappropriate" shoes. There were also the use of the words exotic, trashy and naked which led the topic to a different tone."

No matter how these people who are against with this post call the shoes, but still they can not sugar coat it and call it as just "inappropriate" shoes! Truth hurts, call them "inappropriate shoes" but if you google STRIPPER SHOES and EXOTIC DANCER SHOES, what we will all see are some of what Miss Bohol 2015 are wearing.

WAKE UP, ORGANIZERS! Inappropriate your ass!

Greggy_Gatal said...

Dyza Saco, you're good. Great, in fact. You're 17 but your maturity zooms past your age. Keep it up. Pardon my ignorance but this is the first time i've known of stripper heels. Looked it up, googled. Still, i won't be able to distinguish these different types of heels. And I surmise most men won't. Besides, i dont see anything wrong with women wanting to wear hookers' shoes. Much ado about nothing. Just my opinion.

Anonymous said...

I did no see anything good, much more great with how Dyza Saco presented herself here.
Yes, she has her opinion that doesn't show maturity at all. On top of that, she's 17 with a trashy mouth!

Wow! Really? You'd allow your daughter to wear stripper shoes maybe even at church because there is nothing wrong with it?

“In the age of information, ignorance is a choice.” - Donna Miller.

Ato sabton nalang kay, Dyza Saco is 17. She's in that phase of " I am right. I am mature. I know what I'm doing".

FYI, when one speaks English, doesn't mean one is mature or educated.

and IMO, she has a trashy mouth.
