I'm Nice
Jay and I are having our coffee this morning and paired it with store-bought blueberry muffins from Giant Eagle.
While eating my last bite-size of the pastry, he said,
"Ay! Gihurot na nako akong kape nga naa pa man diay koy muffins." (Oh! I just finished all of my coffee when I still have muffins.)
"Ganahan ka mohigop sa akoa?" (Would you like to sip from my cup?)
I still have about 4 big sips of my café latte.
"Nice man ko, Jay." (I'm nice, Jay.)
He looked up and fixed his gaze on me. You know, that playful look that suggests I didn't mean what I said.
It's not popular knowledge, but I am nice.
He merely grinned in response.

Yehey!
My sister and I were in the family discussing her choice of sofa set for her future purchase. We also hope to buy some of her things for her new apartment from the thrift store, and all of a sudden I blurted out loud...
"What makes a person legitimately called a professional thrifter? Can I be considered one?"
My son-in-law, aka my SOIL, heard our conversation from the kitchen.
"That's you, Mama. Definitely!" he said.
OMG! That never crossed my mind, and I have been doing what I've been doing for over 20 years.
I will definitely add that description to my social media profile.
I sold 3 vintage items today. My buena mano of 2026!

Today. Little sister tweeted me while I was sleeping...

I don't kow about the overused vagina because I haven't seen one. All I can say is that...
This was taken in Iceland. Do they really wear something like that? Is it a trend?
Thoughts: She's pretty. The photo is very good. Styling is ahmmm ...I don't know. It just reminded us of something else. Hehehe.

The Problem
I was chatting with my little sister, Charmaine in Australia today. I told her in one of our topics that I have a problem. A big one!
She: Unsay problema? (What's the problem?)
Me: I made homemade coffee ice cream and baked the most decadent super moist dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate glaze last night, should I eat some now or sa dinner na? (...or at dinner)
She answered me,
It was 2:30 in the morning in Australia already! I know, talking about food especially at dawn is such a tease. I MUST avoid chatting with her for weeks in the early morning for now until she forgets about this.
...or else, she'll get even!
Oh! By the way, I ended eating a small piece of the cake with a small scoop of ice cream at lunch.

Mama-Approved Flower Boy
So the young lady called me up today. It was around eight in the morning in Los Angeles and eleven-ish in Maryland. The delegates will fly to Korea today after a few days stay in California since Saturday. We talked about what we've been doing while she was away and she also shared about the hotel she stayed in and so on and so forth. Then...
Me: Unya naay flower boy sa grupo? (So is there a flower boy in the group?)
..and what I meant by flower boy is a pretty boy.
She: Naa. (There is.)
Me: ((( NAA?! ))) (THERE IS?!)
Hahahaha. I sounded so much more excited than she was. No wonder after reading Yna's short story published in Fiction Press years ago, the people who know me personally asked me if I am the mother in her literary work.
No, it was not me according to my author daughter. Jill's mother is a fictitious character. (Read Girls, Boys, and Other Enigmas here written by Yna)
I can't believe my ears. She usually answers me "Not really!" whenever I ask her this question, whether when she's in summer camp, in high school, and even in college
So, I had to ask her a link of his Facebook page. Of course, I want to see this so called flower boy for myself.

Push-Up!
The young lady came into the dining room this evening while I was editing some items in my online shop. Then, out of the blue, she asked me...
She: Ma, kinsa nag invent sa push-up bra? (Ma, who invented the push-up bra?)
Me: Wa ko kahibaw. Why? (I don't know. Why?)
She: I just want to know.
Then she continued.
She: Nganong walay push-up panty? (Why isn't there a push up panty?)
Me: Ha?! Gusto ka ang vajeyjey abot sa pusod? (Why? Do you want your vajeyjey lifted up to your belly button?)
She: No! Ang lubot ba! (The butt cheeks!)
Hahahaha!
Oh yeah! There should be a push-up underwear for those slowly sagging cheeks. Right?!
Earlier this evening, in our living room while listening to 1950's vinyl records, we danced. I mean, our feet did!
Also, the mister, the young lady, and I were hanging out on Google+. I was in the dining room while I can literally hear them in the other room. That's the young lady trying to look like her bearded father.
