Chalkboard Artist

The young lady sent me a message last Sunday while I was at the "gym" (this gym) telling me that she got paid to draw on a chalkboard.

She went to Mustard Seed, voted as one of Bethesda's Best Consignment Shops, with her friend Izzy. She didn't know that her former boss, the owner of the shop was about to call her to do this job. Her boss was surprised when she walked in that day.

This was her first chalkboard art, and her first paid art work. She paints and draws to give away to friends. She makes hand drawn greeting cards. She even designed shirts for an organization at Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg.

She told me last Sunday that her doodles are still displayed in the office of Mustard Seed. Remember these doodles?
