Thrifting Adventures

I went thrifting today with the young lady, and the thrift store was mobbed. This never happened before. We killed about an hour of our time there, and not one item really called my name. This seldom happens when I leave a thrift store empty handed.

However, my ears perked up when I saw this platform shoes. It's a Jeffrey Campbell. I love this brand but unfortunately this design isn't me or the young lady's. Upper is leather and sole is carved wood. It's sold for $5.99.



I sure would like a pair of Jeffrey Campbells, but just not this one. It will be an accident about to happen. Although I need the height, I'd rather bring a step stool wherever I go than wear one.
